Our weather picture is going to gradually deteriorate as we get closer to the heart of the weekend... and what an important weekend it is with the fishing opener and Mother's Day both being observed. It's almost a tradition to have at least some rain if not cool and blustery conditions over this particular weekend. Well here we go again, a storm system to our west will be the culprit this time around as it will spread a few sprinkles eastward into our area today, followed by more widespread rain showers by Saturday afternoon and Sunday. The weekend won't be a total washout as there may be a bit of sun later today with some morning sunshine possible Saturday and again late Sunday. Unfortunately, Mother's Day will also feature blustery north winds and high temperatures only in the middle 50s...sorry Mom!
